1. Handling of customers reservations.
After reception of the fax or email, berths are allocated for a maximum of 3 days in high season (the harbour master office reserves the right to extend any given stay for technical reasons , due to weather forecasts or to maximise the load of the harbour).
We handle all booking requests (even if the answer is negative) and all details with name, date and dimensions appear on our computer system.
- In order to secure a booking , the client must pay a deposit within 8 days (30% of the price of 1 night) . This deposit will appear automatically as a credit on the client’s account.
If the harbour is full , the client can go on a waiting list 48 hours before his intended date.
2. Handling of cancellations.
- In the case of non payment of the deposit, the reservation will be systematically cancelled.
- The deposit is non refundable if the client cancels his booking.
- In case of cancellation or no show the first night will be charged (minus the deposit already paid)
In case of a cancellation due to weather forecast ( difficulties for the vessel to reach Saint Tropez or the harbour being closed if the wind reaches over 25 knots) no penalty will be charged and the deposit paid by the client will be kept as credit on his account.
3. Handling of waiting list
These requests can be made verbally or by telephone within 48 hours of the date requested. The waiting list is computerised and berths will be reallocated when a client cancels a reservation. |
